Description

  • Lead field support efforts across Specialty Running Accounts and Non-Specialty accounts within the territory.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with product launches, in-store merchandising, and grassroots programs.
  • Work with sales management and marketing to execute national account sell-through programs and in-store promotions.
  • Educate retailers, consumers, and key contacts on Brooks technology and product leadership through seminars and clinics.
  • Monitor and communicate brand positioning, competitor activity, and territory challenges or successes to the sales team.
  • Provide feedback and analysis through ForceManager to assess product initiatives and sales strategies.
  • Represent Brooks at running events and expos, including event setup, breakdown, branding, collateral distribution, consumer engagement, shoe counts, and product trials.
  • Build awareness, recognition, and loyalty for the Brooks brand within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1+ years of retail experience, with athletic specialty retail preferred.
  • 2+ years of marketing or sales experience in the sports industry preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Very strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively independently and in teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate the impact of decisions across customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated innovation, initiative, and willingness to contribute hands-on wherever needed.
  • Basic knowledge of retail math, inventory management, product merchandising, and retail selling skills.
  • Knowledge of performance athletic footwear, apparel, accessories, and related technologies.
  • Understanding of biomechanics of human motion and basic injury prevention.
  • Familiarity with the local running community, including events, clubs, coaches, and specialty retailers.
  • Extensive travel required, with willingness to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of a good driving record upon request.
  • Passion for Brooks’ sports activities is a plus, along with the ability to empathize with runners and build loyal customer relationships.
