Description

  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
  • Build and maintain contact flows, IVR logic, routing profiles, queues, callbacks, emergency messaging, and dynamic messaging.
  • Develop AWS integrations and automation using Lambda, Lex, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch, and related services.
  • Design conversational AI and self-service experiences with Amazon Lex.
  • Support migrations from legacy platforms such as Avaya and Cisco to Amazon Connect.
  • Translate healthcare workflows and compliance requirements into reliable contact center solutions.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, performance tuning, and production stabilization.
  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
  • Collaborate with QA, operations, compliance, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, code reviews, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and release guidance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud engineering, contact center engineering, or application integration.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Amazon Connect solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect contact flows, queues, routing profiles, security profiles, prompts, attributes, CTRs, and metrics.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFront, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  • Experience developing serverless integrations using Python, Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
  • Knowledge of telephony, SIP, IVR, ACD routing, call recording, transfers, callbacks, and queue management.
  • Experience integrating Amazon Connect with CRM, claims, eligibility, workforce management, reporting, or data warehouse systems.
  • Understanding of production support, monitoring, alerting, incident management, root cause analysis, and change management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Healthcare contact center, HIPAA/PHI, PCI, AWS certification, CRM integration, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD, and distributed-team leadership experience preferred.
