Description

  • Build long-term client relationships as a trusted cloud advisor within the Managed Services team.
  • Analyze customer business requirements and translate them into cloud architecture and infrastructure designs.
  • Design, configure, maintain, and optimize AWS subscriptions/tenants and cloud resources.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end workload implementations, including key infrastructure deployment.
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot AWS and Linux issues as a subject-matter expert.
  • Perform cloud cost and performance optimization for servers and resources.
  • Support clients with Azure technology evaluation, initial setup, and ongoing operations.
  • Create technical processes, documentation, and standards; recommend process improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership, manage escalations, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems, administration, patching, and application management.
  • AWS cloud engineering and architecture experience.
  • Azure cloud experience and expertise.
  • Knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, virtual machines, identity and access management, security, compliance, and identity federation.
  • Experience implementing related technologies and understanding their dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical areas, solve complex problems, and proactively address customer needs.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure Government environments (highly desired).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containers (highly desired); governance experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and GNOME; Linux, AWS, and Azure technical certifications are preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000–$210,000, based on experience, clearance level, education, and training.
