Description

  • Partner with customer executives, including Directors, CIOs, and CTOs, on briefings and innovation initiatives.
  • Lead customer architecture efforts in partnership with Azure Management Services, support, and delivery teams.
  • Define architecture and operational roadmaps, including disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Assess customer Azure environments, cloud adoption maturity, and usage of compute, storage, databases, networking, and modern workloads.
  • Architect solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements and produce or review solution design artifacts.
  • Lead complex, high-visibility modernization, architecture, disaster recovery, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
  • Assess on-premises and cloud infrastructure, document operating costs, and recommend improvements.
  • Support daily cloud operations while advancing strategic customer initiatives.
  • Mentor consultants and improve standard operating procedures for client support processes.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
  • Azure Infrastructure as a Service expertise, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Knowledge of Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience with identity and access management, security, compliance, and core Azure services.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associate certification, or willingness to earn one within the first month.
  • Azure Platform as a Service experience, including App Service, Azure SQL, Container Registry, and Azure Data Factory (preferred).
  • Infrastructure as Code experience with Bicep, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager templates, or Azure custom policies (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, ITIL practices, and IT service management toolsets (preferred).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (preferred).
