Description

  • Proactively identify and target potential customers and manage multiple medium-complexity sales cycles from prospecting through closing.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across self-generated, SDR, events marketing, and inbound channels.
  • Articulate Brex’s value proposition and position the company as a trusted business advisor focused on business outcomes.
  • Follow established sales processes and use tools such as Solution Consultants, vendor files, and Mutual Action Plans to move deals toward implementation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across sales, product, marketing, and implementation to ensure deal execution and post-sale success.
  • Engage multiple stakeholders, including Controllers, Finance, IT, and Procurement, to guide complex buying decisions.
  • Drive alignment across internal partners to support successful deal progression.
  • Support revenue growth in the UpMarket segment through new customer acquisition.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of B2B SaaS closing experience, preferably in a net-new logo acquisition environment.
  • 1+ year of SDR/BDR experience.
  • Experience selling SaaS products or solutions and communicating business outcomes rather than only product features.
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC or MEDPICC.
  • Ability to work effectively in entrepreneurial or scrappy environments without relying on a big brand name.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work closely with Solution Consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly and close the first deal within 90 days.
  • Ability to speak the customer’s language rather than focusing only on product terminology.
  • Familiarity selling financial software such as Expense Management, ERP, AP Automation, T&E, or Accounting Software is a plus.
  • Experience managing medium-complexity sales cycles and leading consultative conversations with multiple stakeholders is a plus.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work environment based in the Vancouver office with flexibility to work from home.
  • Minimum of two coordinated in-office days per week, moving to three days per week starting February 2, 2026.
  • Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
  • Expected OTE of $165,000–205,000 CAD.
  • Base salary and commissions included in the OTE, with commission tied to performance.
  • Equity and other forms of compensation may be included in the total package.
