Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the release process across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Verify and maintain release notes, deployment plans, and related documentation to keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Infrastructure, Development, Legal, and Security teams.
  • Build new and improve existing release processes in Jira and GitLab to balance business needs and developer efficiency.
  • Implement and continuously improve release processes across dozens of development teams.

Requirements

  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive change in a fast-growing environment.
  • Strong understanding of Git and branching strategies such as Git Flow, GitHub Flow, and trunk-based development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and their role in automating and streamlining releases.
  • Knowledge of quality controls and test automation in agile continuous integration environments.
  • Basic experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI for automating builds and deployments.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and experience working with it as a user.
  • Understanding of microservice architecture principles.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and the ability to write SQL queries.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance, including testing practices and methodologies, is preferred.
  • Experience running and reviewing automated tests to ensure release quality and stability is preferred.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Coralogix is preferred.
  • Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience with Unleash, including its webhooks and integrations, is preferred.
