Description

  • Execute business development strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Provide account management, strategic planning, and analysis for assigned key accounts.
  • Review and interpret market reports to track progress toward quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, decision makers, and account influencers.
  • Own access, contractual, and outcome goals tied to account business plans.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned geography, customer landscape, care delivery, payers, and public policy and funding initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities and barriers in emerging customer segments.
  • Educate stakeholders, including medical professionals, correctional providers, administrators, and court professionals.
  • Develop systems of care and support criminal justice initiatives using injectable medication for opioid use disorder.
  • Deliver fair, balanced, and compliant clinical presentations.
  • Assist with field training development and delivery in support of the strategic business development plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute customer business plans and support continuity of care and pull-through.
  • Represent Braeburn at local and select national conferences.
  • Manage business development expenses and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including 5+ years in sales, sales leadership, and/or field market access/reimbursement in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical or related experience in corrections/criminal justice systems, integrated health systems, and hospitals.
  • Experience with complex customer protocol navigation and contracting for integrated health systems, corrections, and other large accounts.
  • Experience in a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy Network Management and Buy & Bill acquisition.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience leading others in a highly complex and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously to identify new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally as needed, up to 70-80%.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Preferred: entrepreneurial attitude or experience in a start-up environment.
  • Preferred: documented success in sales or field market access performance with recognition awards in specialty pharmacy markets.
