Description

  • Contact potential customers and follow up with leads to discuss how Patriot’s software can support their business.
  • Provide personalized customer service through phone, live chat, and email.
  • Guide new customers through the initial setup process.
  • Answer customer questions using knowledge of Patriot’s accounting and payroll software.
  • Serve as an internal customer advocate by sharing customer feedback to influence product development and new features.
  • Continuously learn new features and expand product and accounting/payroll knowledge.
  • Work with the team to resolve customer problems and communicate the value of the software.
  • Document customer interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adapt quickly to changing duties and shifting customer needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1–2+ years of inside customer sales experience, with SaaS preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.
  • Comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools, including AI.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in remote and in-person settings, including attending meetings as needed.
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer information securely and follow data protection protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to document customer interactions accurately.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once, including calls, emails, and chats, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of 8+ hours while working on a computer.
  • Consistent, reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Availability for core hours of 10 am–7 pm ET, Monday–Friday, with some flexibility during busy periods.
  • Not open to applicants residing in Alaska, California, Hawaii, or Washington, D.C.
