Description

  • Direct AI coding tools to produce production-quality code across frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Review and validate AI-generated code before it ships.
  • Identify logic errors, missed edge cases, performance issues, and security issues in generated code.
  • Configure and tune AI code-review tools to surface the right issues for human review.
  • Debug complex production issues that span multiple systems.
  • Own architecture accountability for the delivery pod and catch design problems before release.
  • Mentor junior engineers on AI tool fluency.
  • Promote and enforce information security practices and awareness.
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Ensure data protection and privacy measures are applied across the information lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ months of daily use of at least two AI coding tools in production work.
  • Hands-on experience shipping a real project where agents produced the bulk of the work while you directed the process.
  • Demonstrated specs-and-evals discipline, with specs written before code and evaluations before sign-off.
  • Ability to make intentional autonomy decisions across human-written, agent-suggested, agent-shipped-with-review, and fully autonomous work.
  • Modern engineering hygiene, including Git, code review, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
  • Experience using AI-driven code review tools such as GitHub Copilot Code Review, CodeRabbit, Greptile, Qodo, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with AI coding agents such as Claude Code agent mode, Cursor Agent mode, Devin, OpenHands, or Aider.
  • Ability to write effective prompts for code generation, including context files, constraints, and output formats.
  • Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol), with bonus consideration for candidates who have used or built MCP servers.
  • Ability to describe failure modes of AI-generated code, including security, performance, and architectural issues.
  • Understanding of prompt injection as a security risk and how to mitigate it in AI-augmented systems.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for AI output and production AI testing.
  • Ability to work with data privacy and protection standards such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Eligible for employment visa sponsorship, if needed.
