Description

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities by selling BOS engineering and industrial automation solutions.
  • Maintain and strategically expand assigned and target accounts, with a focus on building new relationships and markets.
  • Identify and pursue target companies and industries to support expansion into new markets.
  • Register and manage Requests for Quotes (RFQs) in the sales database with accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Review and manage orders while contributing to monthly and annual revenue and margin targets.
  • Work with the VP of Sales and Marketing to develop and execute a sales plan for new business growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and execute an annual business plan covering key industries, accounts, and growth strategies.
  • Conduct sales visits, lead customer discussions, and present technical solutions aligned to customer needs and BOS capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and applications teams to develop competitive, technically sound proposals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates, forecasting, and pipeline visibility, and lead opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and close.

Requirements

  • Experience building new relationships and opportunities from the ground up in a business development or sales role.
  • Ability to navigate both technical and commercial conversations with manufacturing customers.
  • Comfort working independently with a high level of autonomy and through ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage time, pipeline, and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Willing and eligible to travel to BOS’s Canadian facility for onboarding and as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or a related technical sales environment is preferred.
  • Ability to identify where automation can create meaningful impact in manufacturing processes is preferred.
  • Experience opening new markets or growing a territory is preferred.
