Description

  • Review incoming EDI orders for accuracy, including addresses, SKUs, quantities, and shipping details.
  • Check inventory availability before releasing orders from the OMS to the WMS.
  • Prepare and send packaging, pallet, and retailer-compliant labeling instructions.
  • Track and reconcile fulfillment records with EDI transmissions using systems such as NetSuite, Orderful, SPS Commerce, and WMS platforms.
  • Coordinate shipments through retailer portals or carrier systems for parcel and LTL freight, including exception handling.
  • Monitor shipments for delays, damages, and other issues, and work with carriers or warehouse teams to resolve them.
  • Track drop-ship orders to meet SLAs, verify stock levels, and create replacements when needed.
  • Communicate with warehouse, inventory, and transport teams to keep orders moving smoothly.
  • Create basic reports on order and shipment status and escalate recurring issues to management.
  • Follow SOPs and identify process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or order processing.
  • Experience working with carriers and handling shipping exceptions preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SPS Commerce or Orderful, and WMS platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of retail EDI standards such as 850, 856, 810, and 997 is helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of GS1 labeling is helpful but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order checks.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping software systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in retail or wholesale environments such as CPG or home goods is preferred.
  • Understanding of drop-ship and direct-to-consumer shipping is preferred.
  • Exposure to Shopify, OMS platforms, or e-commerce systems is preferred.
  • Knowledge of LTL and parcel shipping processes is preferred.
