Description

  • Greet patients, visitors, and others entering the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Schedule new referrals received by fax or telephone and coordinate patient visits.
  • Collect patient payments and all money due at the time of service.
  • Verify insurance coverage for patients.
  • Create and maintain an inviting, organized front office environment.
  • Support practice management tasks including schedule management, document routing, deposits, and non-clinical documentation.
  • Manage caseload-related reporting, including discharge candidates, progress notes, and insurance reporting.
  • Monitor clinic inventory and assist with office supply needs.
  • Make welcome calls and help improve patient arrival rates through a strong customer experience.
  • Complete required training, including compliance training and business process updates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with business office and field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple computer programs and manage daily office operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Efficient time management and presentation skills as part of a team.
  • Ability to work full time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend events and work additional hours as needed.
  • Experience with customer service or patient-facing office work is preferred.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work and use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, keyboards, and copy machines.
