Description

  • Translate written materials, including new releases, marketing content, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing literature.
  • Maintain high-quality translation and localization standards for gaming-related content.
  • Adapt quickly to last-minute source changes and reprioritize work as needed.
  • Manage both short-term and long-term projects with strong organization and prioritization.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-driven localization environment.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders in a highly collaborative workflow.
  • Contribute to localization work supporting the gaming industry and multiple content types.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Filipino, both written and verbal, with exceptional grammar skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Arts or equivalent degree; emphasis in translation, localization, linguistics, or game design is a plus.
  • Relevant prior gaming experience to accurately translate content in a gaming context.
  • Experience in professional translation/localization work; games and technical translation preferred.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle quick turnaround times.
  • Experience with computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, or Wordfast.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.
  • Passion for PC or console gaming is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software development, game design, or game distribution platforms is preferred.
  • Understanding of different game genres, game discussion groups, and gaming hardware is preferred.
