Description

  • Manage, maintain, and potentially take over full technical ownership of client digital ecosystems.
  • Ensure the stability and ongoing performance of the current Magento instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin-related work.
  • Execute seamless deployments while transitioning technical responsibilities.
  • Audit, document, and optimize inherited or legacy codebases.
  • Identify and reduce technical debt in existing systems.
  • Connect Magento and WordPress with external systems through API integrations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on projects that impact business outcomes.
  • Support secure operations across staging and production environments.
  • Work within Linux-based server environments and deployment workflows.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Strong WordPress experience, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid knowledge of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend tools such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a strong plus.
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs for system integrations.
  • Solid understanding of Git, staging-to-production workflows, and Linux servers using Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or similar certification is preferred.
