Description

  • Maintain and stabilize the existing Magento 2 instance.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin-related work.
  • Take ownership of the technical ecosystem and support a transition of technical responsibilities.
  • Audit, document, and optimize inherited codebases and legacy systems.
  • Identify and reduce technical debt across the platform.
  • Execute seamless deployments and manage staging-to-production workflows.
  • Optimize MySQL queries and support high-performance caching and search layers.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools through APIs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal team members on ongoing projects and technical improvements.
  • Support secure operations by applying Magento security patches and WordPress hardening practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with Magento 2.x architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Experience with WordPress custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL performance and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS with SASS/LESS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend technologies such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a plus.
  • Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Git, Linux-based server environments, and Nginx/Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening techniques.
  • An Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or similar certification is preferred.
