Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver new product features and improvements.
  • Work independently while coordinating with senior technology leaders for guidance and support.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, release, and iterative enhancement.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with attention to scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and open team environment while working with integrity.
  • Develop high-quality applications for a variety of client projects in a consultancy setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and Django.
  • Comfort with full stack development, including computationally intensive back-end development, service design, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Proclivity toward refactoring and continuously improving object-oriented code through Agile development methods.
  • Experience in a SaaS-based product and comfort working in a corporate setting is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with React, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, or Knockout is relevant.
