Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define new product features and improvements.
  • Work independently with support from senior technology leaders.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, initial release, and iterative enhancements.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with a focus on scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Work collaboratively in an open and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to a variety of client projects with direct business impact.
  • Participate in ongoing refinement and improvement of object-oriented code through Agile development methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and Django; Flask and SQLAlchemy are also relevant.
  • Experience with modern web development frameworks and full-stack development, including backend service design and data storage/access models.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Comfort working in a SaaS-based product and in a corporate setting is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Knockout.
  • Experience with dev tools and cloud/infrastructure technologies such as Git, Docker, AWS, Vagrant, Fabric, and Jenkins.
