Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define new features and improvements.
  • Work independently with support from senior technology leaders.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, initial release, and iterative enhancement.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with a focus on scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Work collaboratively in an open and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to challenging client projects that have a direct impact on business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and Django.
  • Comfort with full-stack development, including backend service design, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Proclivity toward refactoring and continuously improving object-oriented code using Agile development methods.
  • Experience in a SaaS-based product and ability to work effectively in a corporate setting is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies including React, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, and Knockout.
