Description

Develop and maintain data models for application and reporting databases.
Monitor the execution and performance of daily data pipelines and escalate issues as needed.
Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and pipelines that support business intelligence tools.
Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality and ensure production data remains accurate and available.
Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and help resolve incidents.
Write unit and integration tests, contribute to the engineering wiki, and document work.
Work within AWS/Linux cloud environments to support data integration solutions.
Collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts.
Share knowledge with team members and provide visibility into accomplishments.

Requirements

3+ years of experience developing data pipelines using tools such as SnapLogic, Datastage, Informatica, or similar.
3+ years of SQL experience; NoSQL experience is a plus.
Experience with AWS services including S3, Athena, EC2, EMR, and Glue.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with running data clusters.
Experience integrating data from multiple data sources.
Experience with databases and RDBMS technologies such as SQL Server, Redshift, Postgres, RDS, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Experience with data integration platforms such as Pentaho Kettle, SnapLogic, Talend OpenStudio, Jitterbit, or Informatica PowerCenter.
Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Experience with BI tools such as GoodData, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
Familiarity with SaaS/cloud data systems such as Salesforce.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, integration architecture, web services, and data warehouse design concepts.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
