Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound sales strategy to build a book of business in the restaurant vertical.
  • Source leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and social selling to generate interest and create pipeline.
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, and demos to understand merchant needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to align Square's ecosystem and third-party offerings with prospect requirements.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and coordinate with other teams to support onboarding.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to convert and close cold outbound leads.
  • Build relationships in the field as needed to improve trust and win rates.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs through proactive outbound activity.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to help ensure market fit for Square's solutions.
  • Track, monitor, and report on sales activity, pipeline status, and outcomes in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • Experience in business development, including new-logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products.
  • Ability to work independently and drive deals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with prospects.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent.
  • Experience working with restaurant owners or small and mid-sized businesses is preferred.
