Description

  • Serve as the primary Strategic Finance partner to Channel Sales and support day-to-day decision-making.
  • Lead financial, strategic, and planning processes for Channel Sales, including monthly and quarterly reviews, annual planning, long-range planning, and quota setting.
  • Build unit economic models and scenario analyses to evaluate trade-offs and inform pricing, customer acquisition incentives, and headcount investment decisions.
  • Turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior executives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Data Science, and Product.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy to define problems, structure analyses, and drive outcomes.
  • Mentor teammates and help advance Finance and Strategy best practices across Block.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  • GTM experience is a plus.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on investment decisions and business strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders through crisp storytelling and data-driven recommendations.
  • Track record of working autonomously without a defined playbook and driving to outcomes.
  • Experience leading projects with multiple cross-functional partners in fast-paced environments.
  • Mastery of Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfort with SQL and modern AI-assisted analytics tools.
