Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound sales strategy to source new logo opportunities (cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, etc.).
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, product demos, and design consultative solutions using first- and third-party offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to close and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to convert and close cold, outbound leads.
  • Build field relationships with restaurant merchants as needed to increase win rates and close complex deals.
  • Deliver a predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process to fill pipeline and meet quotas/KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure solutions meet market needs and inform go-to-market strategy.
  • Use Salesforce to track, monitor, and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes.
  • Lead introduction of Square to merchants within the restaurant vertical and represent Square externally.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products and driving deals independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business development experience, including new logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent CRM proficiency.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling abilities.
  • Self-starter disposition and a collaborative, team-player mentality.
  • Willingness to go into the field as needed to build relationships and increase win rates.
