Description

  • Lead a distributed team of 8-10 senior Strategic Account Managers supporting food and beverage sellers.
  • Oversee revenue growth and logo retention across the team’s portfolio.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching, feedback, and performance management for team members.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer issues and meet with customers in person on a regular basis.
  • Serve as a vertical expert and partner with product teams to represent the voice of the customer.
  • Develop efficient, repeatable processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on beta programs, co-marketing efforts, product insights, and related initiatives.
  • Identify training needs and help build ongoing enablement programs and go-to-market initiatives for Account Managers.
  • Lead impactful cross-functional projects with autonomy.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of total experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, ideally in the food and beverage industry.
  • 5+ years of experience directly managing metrics-driven, customer-facing teams within a high-growth technology company.
  • Recent experience leading high-performing teams in the mid-market or enterprise segment.
  • Proven success serving as a player/coach for a portfolio.
  • Experience identifying opportunities and independently developing plans of action on behalf of a team.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product teams to serve as the voice of the customer.
  • Experience serving as a direct senior escalation point for customers and helping diffuse challenges.
  • Excellent written communication skills for both internal senior stakeholders and broader audiences.
