Description

  • Build and manage a 3-5X pipeline within the assigned territory through effective prospecting and lead management.
  • Close business with mid-market companies ranging from 51 to 1,000 employees.
  • Manage the sales pipeline in the CRM and provide accurate quarterly revenue visibility and forecasting.
  • Plan the territory and coordinate any needed sales support.
  • Balance short-term and long-term revenue opportunities across the region.
  • Network regularly to attract, influence, and grow partner sales relationships.
  • Recruit and onboard new partners and secure their participation in proactive demand generation activities.
  • Maintain a regional partner plan that maps partner strengths to target accounts and opportunities.
  • Track inbound and outbound lead flow between partners and the Bitwarden sales team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to run joint events, programs, and campaigns with partners.
  • Set financial goals for focus partners and monitor progress toward achievement.
  • Drive multiple channel initiatives across technical, professional services, and sales functions.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the United States, with preference for the Central or Eastern regions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 4-8 years of outside high-tech IT sales experience is required.
  • Experience in IT security sales is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience at a startup or pre-$100M revenue company is desirable.
  • Proven track record of driving partner growth and revenue is required.
  • Strong relationships with SMB and SME resellers and MSP partners across a multistate region are necessary.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with decision makers at all levels of partner organizations is required.
  • Strong communication skills, including listening, writing, and public speaking, are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and multitask independently or as part of a team is required.
  • Experience teaching, enabling, and motivating channel partners to find and close business is required.
  • Strong relationships with top VARs and integrators are preferred.
  • Consistent history of achieving annual quota targets with specific examples of customer wins is required.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, G Suite, and Microsoft Office is required.
  • Competitive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative selling experience are required.
