Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services for Binance Pay and Card products.
  • Build scalable APIs and microservices for payment processing, transaction management, merchant services, and financial workflows.
  • Contribute to distributed systems handling high-volume, latency-sensitive transactions.
  • Work with databases, caching systems, message queues, and infrastructure components to improve performance and reliability.
  • Implement transaction workflows supporting retries, idempotency, concurrency, and failure handling.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, tracing, and root-cause analysis.
  • Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and other teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Improve system reliability, observability, security, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and computer science fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Java, Go, C++, or Python.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL, including indexes, transactions, and database design.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTTP, networking, and client-server architecture.
  • Understanding of operating systems, concurrency, and backend engineering concepts.
  • Ability to write clear, maintainable code and reason systematically about technical problems.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or other message-queue technologies is preferred.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, payment lifecycles, or prior backend internship, project, hackathon, or open-source experience is preferred.
