Description

  • Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with appropriate versioning, security, and engineering standards.
  • Integrate multiple systems and services using suitable software design patterns.
  • Ensure service reliability through unit and integration testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Contribute to CI/CD workflows and deployment-quality improvements.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends and apply relevant improvements to existing solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively across time zones and cultures, communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Strong production experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Hands-on experience developing back-end services with C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Experience implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, SQL Server, ADO.NET, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization.
  • Understanding of software design patterns and engineering best practices.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Advanced English proficiency; all communication is conducted in English.
  • Strong ownership, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, specification-driven or agentic development, and Agile methodologies is preferred.
