Description

  • Develop a data-driven sales strategy and business plan to grow market development across the LA North region.
  • Build, lead, and optimize a high-performing sales team to increase profitability and market share.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop sales representatives.
  • Create and refine customized pitches for OBGYNs, MFMs, and prenatal genetic counselors.
  • Analyze sales results, monitor industry trends, and track competition to drive territory performance.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Influence how the test is communicated to physicians and patients and provide feedback to help evolve the product to better meet market needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct field sales management experience leading sales reps in molecular diagnostics or genetics.
  • Experience in Women’s Health, Prenatal, or Reproductive Health selling to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors within LA North.
  • Existing portfolio of convertible client relationships.
  • Proven track record of sales success, such as President’s Club, Chairman’s Club, or Circle of Excellence recognition, or equivalent.
  • Strong hiring, coaching, motivating, and team development experience.
  • Solid negotiation, closing, data analysis, presentation, and listening skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to work consultatively with OBGYNs, MFMs, and office staff while coordinating logistics and solving problems.
  • Experience in a startup environment and/or clinical laboratory experience preferred.
