Description

  • Create and execute territory plans, including effective travel planning and territory analysis.
  • Develop and maintain agency partnerships to drive profitable growth and meet premium and growth goals.
  • Proactively prospect for new agency appointments, book transfers, and additional production sources.
  • Monitor agency growth, profitability, performance gaps, trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop agency profit improvement and growth plans, and initiate renewal strategy discussions.
  • Conduct in-person agency visits, prospect meetings, claims reviews, stewardship meetings, and other relationship-building meetings.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Client Services, Loss Control, Marketing, and IT on account strategies and ease-of-doing-business improvements.
  • Gather and analyze competitor intelligence and develop action plans based on market opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate producer profiles, business plans, agency files, Bravo contacts, and required reporting.
  • Participate in internal committees, industry events, conferences, charity activities, and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the workers’ compensation insurance industry for Mid-Level consideration.
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in the workers’ compensation insurance industry for Senior-Level consideration.
  • Workers’ compensation insurance experience is required, preferably in a Marketing or Underwriting role.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to read and interpret business, technical, and regulatory materials.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and present information to management and public groups.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn proprietary and vendor software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict resolution, planning, and prioritization skills.
