Description

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure backend services, microservices, and APIs.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, security validation, deployments, and releases.
  • Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Develop and manage containerized applications and platforms using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Integrate DevSecOps controls, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance checks, and automated security testing.
  • Implement observability for microservices and APIs, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot complex production, infrastructure, and deployment issues; perform root-cause analysis and preventative remediation.
  • Conduct architecture, code, infrastructure, and security reviews, and support vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security, infrastructure, and stakeholder teams to improve reliability and delivery.
  • Mentor engineers, document systems and operations, evaluate technologies, and contribute to planning and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Expertise in DevSecOps, AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, automation, and security.
  • Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems, microservices, and APIs.
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent IaC technologies.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot, Maven, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to address cloud architecture, application security, scalability, reliability, and operational concerns.
  • US citizenship or Green Card; Bellese does not provide sponsorship.
  • US residency for at least the past three years.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance, including successful completion of a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Preferred experience with large-scale systems serving 100+ users, PostgreSQL, Camunda, FHIR, or AI/ML.
