Description

  • Contribute to project and product outcomes by scoping, estimating, designing, and delivering medium-to-large features.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and documentation aligned with software specifications and user requirements.
  • Build and maintain automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and accessibility testing throughout the application.
  • Track, prioritize, and resolve defects in collaboration with engineering teams, external teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Establish quality standards, best practices, and metrics across the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct performance, security, compliance, and regulatory testing, including audit documentation.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend QA tools, frameworks, and testing techniques.
  • Own accessible React and TypeScript interfaces, Go services, data systems, delivery pipelines, and production health.
  • Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation and resolve production, security, and observability issues.
  • Support teammates, follow delivery processes, and help reduce technical debt.

Requirements

  • Production experience with Go as a primary backend language.
  • Professional experience with React and TypeScript, or equivalent frontend technologies, with full-stack capability.
  • Experience developing accessible interfaces meeting Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements.
  • Experience writing automated tests across application code without relying on a separate QA team.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and migrations against live systems.
  • AWS or equivalent cloud experience.
  • Ability to meet US Public Trust requirements, including a government background investigation.
  • US citizenship or Green Card eligibility; sponsorship is not available.
  • US residency for at least the past three years.
  • Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Redis, OpenTelemetry, progressive delivery, security remediation, FedRAMP/ATO environments, API gateways/CDNs/WAFs, or screen-reader testing is preferred.
