Description

  • Design and implement a scalable deal desk process for standard, non-standard, and enterprise deals.
  • Build and enforce an approval authority matrix with Legal, Finance, and Sales leadership.
  • Own order form templates, including version control and field-level standards in Salesforce/CPQ.
  • Create and maintain deal desk SLAs, escalation paths, and exception-handling documentation.
  • Ensure opportunity data is accurate before close and supports clean quote-to-cash execution.
  • Partner with Finance on revenue recognition inputs, billing data quality, and bookings reporting.
  • Own the handoff between Sales close and Finance/Billing to reduce rework and booking errors.
  • Calculate, validate, and distribute monthly and quarterly commission and incentive payouts.
  • Manage the commission tool configuration and employee lifecycle changes.
  • Investigate and resolve commission disputes and report recurring issues to leadership.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance Operations.
  • Proven deal desk experience, including order form management and approval governance.
  • Experience managing sales commissions end-to-end, including calculation, disputes, and accruals.
  • Experience with commission platforms such as Spiff, CaptivateIQ, or Xactly.
  • Advanced Salesforce experience with opportunity data, CPQ, and reporting.
  • Strong process design skills and the ability to build from scratch with minimal structure.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience at a B2B SaaS or technology company with subscription and/or consumption billing.
  • Exposure to CPQ tools such as Salesforce CPQ or DealHub.
  • Experience supporting annual incentive plan design with Finance, Sales, and HR is preferred.
