Description

  • Lead the development and expansion of a client pipeline in the festival and fair categories, while identifying opportunities across other music venues and events.
  • Develop and implement growth strategies for the music vertical through lead generation and relationship-building.
  • Manage financial deal models, proposals, and contract negotiations for new partnerships and renewals.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities within assigned verticals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and update opportunities and pipeline data regularly.
  • Represent AXS at industry events and trade shows and facilitate strategic meetings with external partners and prospects.
  • Support business development leadership with strategic tasks and ad hoc growth initiatives.
  • Cultivate partner relationships and coordinate pitch meetings that create new business opportunities.
  • Oversee pitch decks, meetings, proposals, and contracts related to business growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in business development and ticketing or live entertainment.
  • Strong experience identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Strong experience negotiating and executing contracts.
  • Experience evolving sales tools, presentations, and messaging to align with market trends.
  • Experience representing a company at industry events and trade shows, with the ability to network and generate leads.
  • Proven understanding of the sales cycle and the needs of a sales organization.
  • Passion for the live event industry, including music festivals, themed attractions, sporting events, and artist tours.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with leadership at all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive, self-starting, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Slack, G-Suite, Notion, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Track record of optimizing sales processes and maintaining CRM data integrity.
  • Ability to work in a role that does not offer work visa sponsorship.

  • Pay range of $88,200 to $110,000.
  • Eligible for bonus and commission under the current plan.
