Description

  • Own the day-to-day customer relationship and serve as the main point of contact for a key account.
  • Provide best practices, technical expertise, and strategic guidance to help the customer achieve operational goals with Axon products.
  • Lead business and technical presentations, demonstrations, and conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Independently prioritize and execute project tasks in a disciplined, methodical way.
  • Manage customer expectations while maintaining satisfaction and realism.
  • Provide tier-2 technical support, technical guidance, troubleshooting, and limited redaction support.
  • Support customer deployment activities, implementation planning, product adoption, and operational readiness.
  • Deliver customer training on relevant Axon products, workflows, and integrations.
  • Communicate customer feedback across internal teams to influence product development and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with other vendors and agency stakeholders on installations, upgrades, problem resolution, and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with major city, enterprise, or similarly complex customers.
  • Proven success managing customer relationships and technical projects.
  • Experience with project management and product deployment.
  • Understanding of SaaS, cloud providers/solutions, virtualization, and storage.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching methodologies, Wi-Fi, telecommunications, and internet technologies.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of IT knowledge.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience supporting law enforcement, corrections, public safety, or other governmental agencies.
  • Must be able to pass any required agency background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Must be based within an hour of Montgomery County Police Headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD.
  • Preferred: Experience managing a public safety Axon program.
  • Preferred: Experience with program management and progress reporting.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of JIRA and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of CCTV, VMS, and IP cameras.
  • Preferred: Experience working closely with sales and support teams.
  • Preferred: Experience in networking and telecommunications.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting deployments in law enforcement, corrections, public safety, or other governmental environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with evidence workflows, redaction-related processes, or adjacent public safety operational workflows.
  • Preferred: Experience coordinating across internal and external stakeholders in complex customer environments.
