Description

  • Act as the main technical liaison for assigned agencies and resolve complex technical issues with Axon products and services.
  • Collaborate with deployment teams to design, configure, test, and implement software solutions for successful rollouts.
  • Respond quickly to critical issues and manage crisis situations to restore functionality and minimize operational impact.
  • Represent agency needs and feedback internally to influence product development and service improvements.
  • Guide agencies through change management and help improve software adoption through best practices and problem-solving.
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, sales, and other cross-functional teams to support the customer experience.
  • Build custom dashboards, manage data integrations, and support reporting needs using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server, and Form Builder/JSON.
  • Provide advanced training and training documentation to agency staff on Axon products and services.
  • Work onsite with customers to resolve issues, deliver training, and ensure agency needs are met.
  • Support deployments and ongoing customer success across multiple agency locations with extensive travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical account management or a similar customer-facing role, preferably in public safety or software.
  • Experience deploying SaaS solutions, including configuring, testing, and troubleshooting complex software applications.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support.
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills, including use of tools like Splunk, JIRA, and Salesforce.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows OS, networking (routing, switching, Wi-Fi), cloud solutions, virtualization, and storage.
  • Experience with data management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server.
  • Ability to work onsite with customers and outside normal business hours for critical issues.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a CJIS background check and handle confidential, highly sensitive information.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL are a plus.
  • Familiarity with public safety or law enforcement systems such as RMS, CAD, and CJIS standards is highly desirable.
  • Experience building custom dashboards, writing SQL queries, and using advanced analytics tools is preferred.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
