Description

  • Lead Axon 911’s public safety strategy and drive long-term growth, scalability, innovation, and KPI performance.
  • Strengthen partnerships with industry organizations such as NENA and APCO.
  • Mentor and support the Public Safety team.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align solutions with customer needs.
  • Improve onboarding, training, and product adoption for public safety customers.
  • Gather customer feedback and translate it into product enhancements and prioritized AI initiatives.
  • Coordinate early-access programs and ensure solutions meet operational needs within public safety organizations.
  • Support market expansion and deal strategy through industry expertise, customer relationships, workshops, webinars, speaking engagements, and thought leadership.
  • Optimize workflows and processes to improve customer satisfaction, retention, lead generation, and cross-functional business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership and managerial experience in public safety, emergency communications, or PSAP operations.
  • Experience at the Deputy Director level or above, or in an equivalent senior leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in PSAP operations, NG911, CAD, emergency communications workflows, and public safety technology trends.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with PSAP leaders, industry associations such as NENA/APCO, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic leadership experience driving scalable programs, operational improvements, and cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.
  • Ability to translate customer feedback, operational challenges, and market insights into product, business, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills, including executive presentations, workshops, and industry events.
  • Collaborative, data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, measuring success, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Fully remote within a specified territory, with up to 50% travel required.
