Description

  • Partner with the Key Account Leader to manage complex, high-impact engagements with law enforcement agencies.
  • Sell Axon Air products and technology offerings to domestic law enforcement agencies across the assigned territory.
  • Serve as a functional expert on the Air program within the broader sales team.
  • Generate leads and pursue opportunities using sources such as Google alerts, RFPs, and other intelligence.
  • Build customer relationships and develop a contact network within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver stronger value propositions.
  • Forecast sales, provide timely account updates to management, and share competitive intelligence with marketing.
  • Track customer activity in Salesforce and other internal systems to support account strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage critical partner relationships, including Axon’s Skydio partnership, to deliver integrated operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Highly proficient computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory, including 3–4 days a week and overnights.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology.
  • Experience with end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Ability to strategically win new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial fashion within a new initiative for the company.
  • Startup experience and/or vertical experience is a plus.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
