Description

  • Join the core Agent Team supporting management of millions of devices worldwide.
  • Work on the Automox Agent installed on customer endpoints.
  • Design, develop, and optimize the cross-platform agent for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Build secure communication pipelines between the local agent and cloud services.
  • Solve system-level endpoint challenges, including native OS process management and isolated execution environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and platform teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Contribute to service ownership by understanding operational behavior, cost profiles, and failure modes.
  • Participate in technical decision-making through architecture review processes as you grow.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and monitoring applications in a high-availability SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience with both Go and Java, with strength in at least one.
  • Experience or strong interest in cross-platform development for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Strong understanding of resource-constrained environments and system-level performance optimization.
  • Experience or strong interest in securely and efficiently connecting local client software with large-scale cloud backends.
  • Secure coding experience, such as OWASP, vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, secure code review, penetration testing, data protection, encryption, or authentication and authorization.
  • Experience building production applications in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP with security best practices.
  • Experience working on applications with continuous client connectivity is desired.
  • Familiarity with scaling microservice architectures, event ingestion platforms, websockets, real-time messaging systems like Kafka or MQTT, and non-relational databases like DynamoDB is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a tightly knit, cross-functional remote team.
  • Must be able to pass a federal, state, and county background check.
  • Must complete a local in-person verification.
  • Ability to work remotely from an approved location; candidates in California or the New York metro area are not eligible.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

  • Base salary range of $125,000 to $150,000 USD.
