Description

  • Generate medical insights from longitudinal clinical data, including early disease signals, intervention response patterns, and population-level trends.
  • Build forecasting models for disease progression, biomarker trajectories, member engagement, demand, and capacity planning.
  • Lead or contribute to operational analytics across visit patterns, throughput, scheduling, panel composition, vendor performance, and member journeys.
  • Design and execute studies with clinicians, including controlled comparisons, error analysis, and clinically defensible writeups.
  • Design and analyze experiments and quasi-experiments, including A/B tests and staged rollouts.
  • Author and maintain curated views and dbt models in the Snowflake gold layer.
  • Build dashboards and analytical tools in Omni Analytics for clinicians and operational leaders.
  • Partner with AI Scientists and AI Engineers by providing ground truth, evaluation datasets, and clinical framing for model development.
  • Translate clinical and operational questions into analytical problems and turn results into clear recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied statistics, including at least 2 years in healthcare, biomedical, or another regulated longitudinal-data domain.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and probability, including confidence intervals, regression specification, and forecasting baselines.
  • Experience with forecasting and time-series methods, regression modeling, and applied machine learning for tabular data such as gradient boosting.
  • Experience with the design and analysis of experiments and quasi-experiments.
  • Strong Python skills with pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and at least one forecasting library.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Comfort with a cloud data warehouse, with Snowflake preferred.
  • Experience with modern data tooling such as dbt and a workflow orchestrator like Dagster or Airflow.
  • Track record of partnering with domain experts such as clinicians or operations leaders to produce defensible analytical work.
  • Clear written and visual communication, including executive summaries, defensible methods sections, and well-designed charts.
  • Interest in healthcare and comfort working on data that affects patient care.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, computer science, applied math, or a relevant clinical/biological science is preferred, or a strong equivalent analytical track record.
  • Experience with causal inference methods is preferred.
  • Experience with modern forecasting toolkits and hierarchical or probabilistic forecasting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with deep learning tools such as PyTorch or Hugging Face is preferred.
  • Familiarity with a BI tool such as Omni, Looker, Mode, or Tableau is preferred.
  • Published peer-reviewed clinical, biomedical, or operations research is preferred.
  • Prior work in healthcare, biology, or another regulated domain is preferred.
