Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails web applications.
  • Build and integrate secure, reliable, high-performance RESTful APIs.
  • Design, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL databases and work with MongoDB and Redis.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance, scalability, and stability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to define and deliver features.
  • Own features end to end, including cross-component and cross-team integration.
  • Develop risk-based tests and validate integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
  • Contribute to architecture, technical decisions, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate Ruby, JavaScript, and cloud technologies to recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience.
  • Strong Ruby programming skills and experience building scalable web applications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Vue.js, React.js, or Angular.
  • Strong PostgreSQL database design, management, and optimization knowledge.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL data stores, including MongoDB or Redis.
  • Experience designing, developing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Familiarity with application debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
