Description

  • Write maintainable JavaScript and TypeScript backend code using object-oriented principles.
  • Contribute technically to product improvements and solution design.
  • Translate user stories and business requirements into implementation estimates and delivered solutions.
  • Write documentation for delivered code.
  • Conduct peer code reviews.
  • Reuse and improve the company knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with Scrum team members and US-based clients.
  • Continuously learn and take on new technical challenges.

Requirements

  • 6–12 months of commercial Node.js experience.
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript concepts (ES2018+), classes, and recent language features.
  • Basic experience with a Node.js backend framework such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.
  • Understanding of OOP, data structures, SOLID and DRY principles, and design patterns.
  • Experience integrating SQL databases using an ORM or query builder such as Prisma or Knex.
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly while independently writing code.
  • English proficiency at B2/C1 level and Polish proficiency at C1 level.
  • Strong communication skills, openness to feedback, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with TypeScript, multiple backend frameworks, Agile/Scrum, MVP delivery, AWS, serverless technologies, Docker, or open-source contributions (preferred).
