Description

  • Design, develop, and support end-to-end ecommerce capabilities in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Maintain and enhance existing ecommerce website implementations while delivering new features.
  • Make architectural decisions and contribute hands-on to backend development.
  • Manage platform compliance and implement required updates.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot integration feeds for products, inventory, pricing, OMS, Google, and product reviews.
  • Monitor website uptime and speed, report performance, and implement improvements.
  • Manage site domains and code repositories.
  • Collaborate with external development agencies, third parties, and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while improving SFCC processes and interfaces.
  • Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Software development experience with SFCC, ecommerce feeds, and integrations.
  • Experience with SFCC SiteGenesis and/or SFRA, including catalog, content, slots, search, ordering, marketing, and analytics features.
  • Experience integrating and customizing third-party cartridges and developing new cartridges.
  • Knowledge of SFCC caching, cache management, performance monitoring, and optimization.
  • Understanding of Business Manager capabilities, configurations, and customizations.
  • Experience with ISML, JavaScript controllers, pipelines, OCAPI, release management, and version-control tools.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SASS, and jQuery.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification and retail/ecommerce industry experience preferred.
