Description

  • Own and align product and technical roadmaps with company strategy using customer, market, sales, support, and usage insights.
  • Translate business objectives, customer problems, market opportunities, and technical constraints into evidence-based priorities.
  • Lead customer discovery, validation, incremental releases, and post-launch measurement of adoption and impact.
  • Guide architecture and technical evolution across Java/Spring, Vue 3/TypeScript, mobile applications, and the multi-tenant SaaS platform.
  • Review code, contribute to high-impact technical work, debug complex issues, and make architectural tradeoff decisions.
  • Lead AI strategy for developer productivity, responsible AI adoption, internal automation, and differentiated customer-facing capabilities.
  • Establish engineering practices for delivery predictability, quality, security, monitoring, on-call operations, and incident response.
  • Balance feature development with platform improvements, technical debt, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing product and engineering teams and future technical and product leaders.
  • Partner with the GM and cross-functional leaders to connect product and technical decisions to company priorities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development leadership experience, including building and scaling engineering teams, or equivalent founder/CTO experience.
  • Proven senior product or engineering leadership experience with accountability for business outcomes.
  • Strong technical foundation and credibility with engineering teams, including the ability to guide architecture decisions.
  • Deep product judgment, including customer problem discovery, strategy, prioritization, impact measurement, and iteration.
  • Track record leading large-scale process, culture, or technical transformation.
  • Executive communication and cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, sales, and customer success.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and scaling high-performing technical teams.
  • Strategic ability to balance innovation, technical debt, reliability, security, and business needs.
  • Practical experience with modern development practices and AI-assisted workflows.
  • Fluency in both French and English for technical documentation and international collaboration.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Vue 3, TypeScript, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, mobile synchronization, or multi-tenant SaaS is beneficial but not required.
