Description

  • Define product vision and strategy for assigned strategic problems with Franchise Owners and the Chief Product Officer.
  • Own and prioritize roadmaps, balancing customer value, business priorities, delivery capacity, and platform capabilities.
  • Build investment business cases, evaluate tradeoffs and expected impact, and present recommendations to product and executive leadership.
  • Lead voice-of-customer research, usage-data analysis, feedback loops, and pilots for librarians, educators, and students.
  • Monitor market and competitive developments and translate insights into roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with Franchise Owners, Platform Strategy, and Technology leadership to define products, requirements, delivery sequencing, and tradeoffs.
  • Coordinate go-to-market readiness with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success and track post-launch adoption and business impact.
  • Define, report, and communicate KPIs and business outcomes to product and executive stakeholders.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and informally coach Product Managers on product practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, education, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive product management experience, including ownership of a product roadmap or product line.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop evidence-based product strategy using customer research, market analysis, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience building and presenting business cases, including revenue impact and investment tradeoffs, to executive leadership.
  • Strong qualitative research and quantitative usage-data analysis skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, shifting, assignment-based product environments.
  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills for executive audiences.
  • Experience in education technology, library technology, or content-and-technology markets; K–12 experience preferred.
  • Experience partnering with content, editorial, or curriculum teams is preferred.
