Description

  • Design and build scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js.
  • Build and maintain REST and/or GraphQL APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain frontend components using React.
  • Debug and resolve production issues to improve system reliability.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of modules from design through development, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead technical decisions across architecture, performance, and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, cross-functional engineering, and product teams to deliver cohesive features.
  • Deploy and operate applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in full-stack or backend development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Solid backend experience with Node.js.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with React.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience building REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, with Cosmos DB preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work remotely from LatAm countries including Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, or Brazil, aligned to EST hours.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience influencing architecture and design decisions and guiding execution across a team.
  • Experience with AI/ML integrations, event-driven architectures like Kafka, containerized deployments with Docker/Kubernetes, or innovation/POV development is preferred.
