Description

  • Design and implement full-stack, user-facing features for Pinterest’s platform.
  • Lead work across the product lifecycle from brainstorming and prototyping to A/B testing and scalable implementation.
  • Partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Suggest, prototype, and iterate on new product ideas from the perspective of a user.
  • Use automated testing and engineering best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality code.
  • Own features from inception through technical design, implementation, and release.
  • Work with world-class peers on high-impact engineering projects.
  • Use AI to accelerate prototyping, outlining, synthesis, and repetitive tasks while applying careful review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of industry full-stack development experience building consumer- or business-facing products.
  • Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend stacks such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing.
  • Experience writing reliable and maintainable code used by many other engineers.
  • Ability to stay current with new technologies and evaluate what should be incorporated.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work.
  • Strong critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work, including testing, source-checking, data validation, and peer review.
  • High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
  • Not eligible for relocation assistance.
  • Willingness to work in the office 1-2 times every 6 months for in-person collaboration, with the role situated anywhere in the country.

  • Base salary range of $123,696 to $254,667 USD.
