Description

  • Generate qualified meetings for Account Executives through high-volume outbound outreach across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
  • Personalize prospect messaging based on industry, persona, and company-specific triggers.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to maximize territory penetration and pipeline development.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Report sales results and sales trends to the Business Development Manager on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Stay current on new products, services, pricing, and payment plans.
  • Partner with Marketing on ABM plays, campaigns, trade shows, and events to generate qualified pipeline.
  • Work with other internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs from prospect to Account Executive.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Articulate products and industry trends to communicate relevant information to prospects.
  • Respond to prospects during standard business hours and complete other sales development duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative or in a similar sales-related role.
  • Strong understanding of lead and sales development best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold outreach.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding pipeline generation goals and other key metrics.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including in-depth experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to create, manage, and update lead, contact, and opportunity information in Salesforce with ease.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize high-volume outreach and CRM activity.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SaaS is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the e-learning space, authoring tools, and learning management systems is preferred.
  • Remote work experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Total compensation range of $69,992–$92,739 annually, including base salary, commissions, and bonus potential.
  • Base salary range of $45,789–$60,670 for U.S. locations.
  • Bonus-eligible role.
