Description

  • Own ongoing competitive monitoring across product launches, pricing changes, messaging shifts, and sales motions.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows to gather and synthesize competitive and market signals from multiple sources.
  • Distill research into clear, opinionated insights that inform positioning and sales strategy.
  • Maintain and continuously evolve battlecards, competitive briefs, differentiation frameworks, and competitive guides.
  • Partner with sales to create practical talk tracks and objection-handling frameworks.
  • Participate in deal reviews to understand competitive dynamics in live opportunities.
  • Train reps on competitive materials and refine enablement assets based on field feedback.
  • Design and improve repeatable AI-assisted research workflows using automation, agents, and prompt systems.
  • Translate competitive insight into concise messaging and differentiation narratives.
  • Track adoption and effectiveness of competitive materials and refine content based on impact on positioning confidence and win rates.
  • Expand scope over time into partner marketing initiatives and co-marketing narratives.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in product marketing, sales, competitive intelligence, or strategy.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insight.
  • Analytical mindset with strong pattern recognition and synthesis skills.
  • Ability to think in frameworks and simplify complexity.
  • Deep curiosity about how products, markets, and buyers work.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales teams.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor as part of daily workflows.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Experience in Data/ML, AI, or developer-focused products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with building lightweight automation or AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
  • Exposure to competitive intelligence programs in high-growth companies is a plus.
  • Experience supporting live deals through positioning and objection handling is a plus.
  • Interest in buyer psychology and decision-making dynamics is a plus.
  • Exposure to coding or building technical side projects is a plus.
