Description

  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, value propositions, and marketing assets for Actian’s AI-based products and technologies.
  • Translate complex engineering concepts into clear narratives for technical and business audiences in partnership with R&D and sales engineering teams.
  • Turn customer success stories into compelling product stories and proof points in partnership with customer success teams.
  • Create demand generation content tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customize messaging, value propositions, and buyer-journey content for different ICPs.
  • Execute launch strategy and build launch materials for AI product releases, including bill of materials.
  • Map AI capabilities in the portfolio to customer problems and business initiatives.
  • Create sales plays and campaigns that drive adoption and pipeline impact.
  • Build internal enablement and training materials such as product tours, email cadences, pitch decks, datasheets, and demo scripts.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, conduct market research, and provide strategic recommendations for positioning and roadmap input.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise software, ideally in data, analytics, cloud, SaaS, or adjacent technologies.
  • 1-2 years of product marketing experience owning AI/ML products.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or running AI agents or AI/ML workflow automations.
  • Strong understanding of the AI/ML ecosystem and trends, including AI data analysts, MCP servers, LangGraph, vector databases, RAG, and LLM applications.
  • Ability to message AI/ML concepts, LLMs, and agent frameworks to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability with experience translating technical features into business value.
  • Experience with free trials and product-led sales growth models.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Familiarity with emerging growth areas such as ML, edge computing, and robotics partnerships.
