Description

  • Build, maintain, and support network infrastructure across campus, branch, data center, and SD-WAN cloud environments.
  • Own and drive network design standards for new and existing sites across the enterprise.
  • Lead architecture reviews for major network changes and act as the escalation point for complex design and troubleshooting decisions.
  • Plan, design, and implement LAN/WAN solutions, including NG firewall and SD-WAN platforms, and maintain golden configurations.
  • Design and maintain AWS networking components such as VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and security groups.
  • Align network architecture with information security requirements, including segmentation, zero-trust, and compliance needs.
  • Drive adoption of network automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
  • Build network observability through telemetry, alerting, and dashboards that provide actionable signal without alert fatigue.
  • Support and troubleshoot network issues, including after-hours escalations when needed.
  • Research vendor and technology options and document comparisons for cost, capability, and fit.
  • Mentor other engineers through documentation, peer reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across IT and the broader business.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering supporting complex, multi-site hybrid environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies, including NGFW, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and Prisma Access.
  • Extensive experience with SD-WAN technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN and Velocloud SD-WAN.
  • Strong routing and switching fundamentals, including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN, L2/L3 switching, QoS, DHCP, DNS, and spanning tree.
  • Experience designing VLAN architecture and L3 segmentation across multi-site environments.
  • Experience with Cisco, Ubiquiti, and HP/Aruba switching, wireless, and NAC solutions.
  • AWS networking experience with VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and security groups.
  • Demonstrated success driving network standards and consistency across a multi-site environment.
  • Hands-on experience installing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver large-scale network projects.
  • Experience introducing network automation using Ansible, Python, or similar tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible for network provisioning.
  • Exposure to network observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across IT and business teams.
  • CCNP or equivalent experience; CCIE or AWS Advanced Networking certification is a plus.
  • Experience in a high-growth manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or compliance-heavy environment is preferred.
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Base salary range of $152,100 to $190,100.
