Description

  • Develop and maintain responsive front-end applications and the backend APIs that support them.
  • Implement real-time data streaming features to visualize dynamic data on maps and dashboards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Backend, Data Science, and DevOps teams to integrate AI models into the user experience.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including coding, code reviews, deployment, and feature monitoring.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code across the stack.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot bugs, and assist with root cause analysis for production issues.
  • Bridge real-time data pipelines with intuitive user interfaces to create a seamless user experience.
  • Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of production software systems.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience across the full stack.
  • Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with backend languages such as Python, Node.js, Rust, or Go.
  • Experience handling real-time data on the frontend, such as WebSockets or SSE, and managing application state.
  • Understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and caching layers such as Redis.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and modern development workflows using Git.
  • Ability to leverage AI coding assistants while fully understanding and taking ownership of all code committed.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with web-based mapping and visualization libraries such as Mapbox or MapLibre.
  • Preferred: Experience with real-time audio workflows, including Opus decoding, browser audio rendering APIs, and multi-channel live audio streams via LiveKit/WebRTC.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and basic Kubernetes concepts.
  • Preferred: Exposure to event-driven architectures or streaming systems.
  • Preferred: A deep interest or background in aerospace, aviation, or autonomous systems.

Benefits

  • Base pay targeted between $120,000 and $150,000.
